Board-Certified Physician Assistant
Mariana Shalit, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant at Geria Dermatology dedicated to providing thoughtful, evidence-based dermatologic care. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Mariana has had a longstanding interest in dermatology and is passionate about helping patients better understand and care for their skin.
Mariana earned her Bachelor of Science in Molecular Environmental Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the MGH Institute of Health Professions. Her clinical training within Boston’s renowned hospital systems provided her with a strong foundation in evidence-based medicine and patient-centered care.
Mariana believes that the best care begins with listening. She takes the time to understand each patient’s concerns, explain their diagnosis and treatment options, and develop an individualized plan that allows patients to feel informed and confident in their care. She especially values building long-term relationships with her patients and creating an environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and participating in decisions about their skin health.
