What to Expect on the Day of a HydraFacial Treatment
On the day of your treatment, your Hydrafacial will be completed in three different steps outlined as follows:
Cleanse and peel: Uncover a new layer of skin with gentle exfoliation and relaxing resurfacing.
Extract and Hydrate: Remove dirt, dead skin cells, and other unwanted particles from pores with painless suction. Nourish with intense moisturizers that make the skin soft and supple.

Your Hydrafacial experience will likely take about 30 minutes to complete, making it the perfect treatment to get between errands or while on your lunch break.

To help protect their skin, patients must follow aftercare directions closely. It will be important to use a gentle cleanser for the first night and apply sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher every day.
Things patients should avoid include:
- Applying makeup for the remainder of the day after treatment
- Washing the face within six hours
- Using toner for the first night
- Using hot tubs and saunas and taking showers within 24 hours after treatment
- Waxing, using exfoliating treatments, and using acne medication for the first 48 hours
- Excessive sun exposure within 48 to 72 hours
- Getting chemical peels or laser skin treatments for the first two weeks
