Board-Certified Dermatologist
Kathleen Jedruszczuk, DO, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist at Geria Dermatology practicing in medical, pediatric, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She treats a wide range of skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, hair loss, and skin cancer, as well as more complex dermatologic conditions.
Known for her warm and thorough approach, Dr. Jedruszczuk takes the time to understand each patient’s concerns and develops personalized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to their individual needs and goals. In addition to medical dermatology, she provides cosmetic treatments with an emphasis on achieving subtle, natural-looking results.
Dr. Jedruszczuk earned her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from CUNY Hunter College, where she was a Yalow Scholar and participated in the Thomas Hunter Honors Program. She received her medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine on Long Island.
She completed her preliminary internal medicine training at Northwell Health’s LIJ Forest Hills Hospital, where she was named Intern of the Year and received the Champion on the Hill Award for excellence in patient care. She subsequently completed her dermatology residency at Hackensack Meridian Health Palisades Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Jedruszczuk is fluent in Polish and enjoys caring for patients of all ages, building long-term relationships that allow her to support their skin health through every stage of life.
Throughout her training, Dr. Jedruszczuk received research awards and competitive scholarships that provided opportunities for advanced mentorship with leading cosmetic dermatologists and participation in national conferences. She has authored peer-reviewed publications and presented her research at regional and national meetings.
