Board-Certified Dermatologist
Aanand N. Geria, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist and founder of Geria Dermatology, specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology with an emphasis on evidence-based, technology-driven care. Born and raised in New Jersey, Dr. Geria is passionate about combining advances in dermatology, aesthetics, and skincare with highly personalized patient care.
Dr. Geria founded Geria Dermatology with a simple vision: to create a modern dermatology practice where patients could receive comprehensive medical and cosmetic care without sacrificing a personal, individualized experience. The practice brings together evidence-based medicine, advanced technology, and a carefully selected team of dermatology professionals while maintaining the accessibility and attention of a boutique practice.
Dr. Geria earned his undergraduate degree from Penn State University and his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. After completing a transitional internship at Lehigh Valley Hospital, he completed his dermatology residency at Howard University Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Geria serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. He has authored peer-reviewed publications, lectures nationally, and remains actively involved in professional dermatologic societies.
Dr. Geria has a particular interest in the intersection of dermatology, aesthetics, skincare, and emerging technology. He advises leading skincare brands on product development and innovation and is frequently sought out by the media for his perspective on dermatology, skincare ingredients, treatments, and industry trends.
