The non-ablative Tetra CO2 laser used for CoolPeel treatment generates microscopic holes in the skin, just enough to stimulate the body's natural healing process. In response, your body feeds the treated area with collagen, restoring its smooth, youthful appearance.

While earlier generations of laser therapy utilized a similar technique, the Tetra CO2 laser used for CoolPeel emits light pulses without the older lasers' extreme heat, which remains on the skin and causes needless damage. CoolPeel is as effective as lasers, but without the downtime.

During your CoolPeel treatment, we will move the laser device over the treatment region, which will allow the laser to go deeper into your skin than just the surface layer. Because it is so mild, you won't require numbing cream before the procedure, as you would for more intense laser treatments. Patients report feeling a slight tingling sensation as the laser moves over their skin during treatment. The procedure takes approximately fifteen minutes to complete.
