Nina Chopra, MD, MPH, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She has been honored to serve as the corporate dermatologist for multiple prestigious companies, including Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. In addition, she has worked with companies such as Bloomberg, Johnson and Johnson, Novartis, Barclays, Scholastic Books, Pfizer and Sanofi to assist with employee skin wellness and skin cancer screenings.

Dr. Chopra earned her medical degree in the accelerated BA/MD program at the George Washington University in Washington, DC, where her skills and aptitude were recognized with an invitation to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. After graduating, she completed an internship at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center at Harvard Medical School in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and served as the chief resident in dermatology at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She also studied at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center where she trained in dermoscopy, an advanced technique for accurate detection of skin cancers.

Dr. Chopra maintains clinical and research interests in nonsurgical approaches to aesthetic rejuvenation, the evaluation and treatment of skin cancer/ skin conditions, and dermoscopic evaluation of pigmented lesions. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and serves as an Associate Clinical Dermatology Professor at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York City.

Her excellence as a dermatologist is widely recognized. Dr. Chopra was included in the Consumers’ Research Council of America’s Guide to America’s Top Dermatologists, and she has been awarded Castle Connolly’s top doctor award.

Dr. Chopra recognizes that every patient is unique. As such, she believes in partnering with patients to help them achieve all their skin goals. She enjoys combining numerous modalities including injectables, collagen stimulating devices, light/laser energy and a tailored at-home regimen to help patients look and feel their best . She looks forward to keeping her patients happy, healthy, and beautiful.

Suzanne Cohen is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from Rutgers University, graduating Cum Laude. She went on to earn her Master’s Degree from Pace University-Lenox Hill Hospital Physician Assistant Program in New York, NY, graduating in the top of her class.

After completing her graduate degree, Suzanne started working in plastic and reconstructive surgery, where she honed her surgical skills and her aesthetic eye. For the last six years she has been fulfilling her life-long goal of practicing dermatology. Suzanne is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and strives to make every patient feel like the best version of themselves through a combination of medical and cosmetic treatments. She prides herself on constantly learning and staying up to date on the newest treatments to enhance her knowledge base and clinical skills. She is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Maria Strangie, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology. She graduated cum laude from Hofstra University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Health Science. She earned her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at MCPHS University and completed training in various medical specialties throughout the Boston area.

After becoming a Physician Assistant, Maria began practicing dermatology in the New York City area. She has undergone extensive training and developed skills necessary to treat patients of all backgrounds. She has also completed a fellowship program and remains an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Maria truly believes in providing exceptional care and looks forward to creating individualized treatment plans with her patients. She feels that it is important to fully educate patients so that they can be comfortable in making an informed decision. Maria enjoys both medical and cosmetic dermatology

Mukti Patel is a registered nurse focusing on aesthetics, skincare, and CoolSculpting at Geria Dermatology. She graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She then acquired 7 years of valuable patient care and nursing experience bedside, in the operating room, and in the post anesthesia care unit in several locations in New Jersey and New York City. Mukti naturally transitioned into an aesthetic nurse role, where she learned all of her skills from Dr. Geria himself. She has mastered skincare, HydraFacials, chemical peels, dermaplaning, microneedling with PRP and, CoolSculpting. Mukti’s nursing experience allows her to put her patients needs at the forefront of the care she delivers every day. Her biggest goal is to provide high quality patient care all while surpassing their cosmetic expectations. In her free time, she loves to cook and take her dog, Luna, out for long walks.

Olha Soroka is a certified aesthetician with over 5 years of experience in the field of dermatology. She has a passion for patient care and lifelong learning. She is originally from Ukraine and is fluent in Ukrainian and Polish. She is dedicated to providing clients with an educated, lifelong approach to caring for their skin. She enjoys working with clients on an ongoing basis to develop a results-driven skin care routine including both professional services and home care. When she’s not working at Geria Dermatology, Olha is exploring new places, rollerblading, and spending time with friends and family.

Olivia Pipala is a certified aesthetician with more than five years of experience. In the past, Olivia worked as a Chemistry teacher, but she decided to change her career path and become an aesthetician. As a result of this shift, she is able to combine her love of helping others, science, and skincare. She is committed to giving the best possible care to her patients. It is her primary goal to create relationships with her patients and treat them the way she would like to be treated for her own skin care issues. For the greatest outcomes, she prioritizes the requirements of her patients and listens intently to their concerns. Olivia enjoys traveling and spending time with her family when she’s not working at Geria Dermatology.

Jessica Pongrac is a qualified medical assistant who has worked in the area of dermatology for over six years. For her, health care and lifelong learning are intertwined passions. She is committed to providing patients with an informed, lifelong approach to skin care that is tailored to their individual needs and preferences. Jessica enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends when she is not working at Geria Dermatology.

Ivanna Paranchak is a medical assistant with over seven years of experience in dermatology. She is devoted to providing patients with the finest possible care. For her, patient care and lifelong learning are intertwined passions. She was born and raised in Ukraine, and she is proficient in both Ukrainian and Polish. In her leisure, Ivanna enjoys spending time with her family, baking, and sewing.

Viktoriia Sytnyk is a practice administrator with over 8 years of experience in customer service and over 6 years in dermatology. She is a customer-centric manager and lifelong learner. She is originally from Ukraine and is fluent in Ukrainian and Polish. Viktoriia is dedicated to making sure all patients get the best care and service possible. In her spare time, Viktoriia loves spending time with her family, reading, and traveling.
