What Is Sculptra?

Sculptra is a poly-L-lactic acid injectable. Who Is in Need of Sculptra?

If you are currently pregnant or breastfeeding, Sculptra may not be an ideal option for you. Patients who are prone to developing keloids may also not be good candidates for this injectable treatment. Your Sculptra Session

Sculptra Aftercare

There is no significant downtime or recovery period involved following a Sculptra session. Patients can return to whatever they were doing beforehand, and this treatment can even be done during the patient’s lunch break.

Patients will be advised to avoid too much exposure to heat and any activity that would place excessive strain on their bodies. An ice pack can be used to help ameliorate any swelling in the area.

The results of Sculptra can last for anywhere from two to five years. Results develop gradually over two to six months as new collagen is produced in the treatment areas.
